Practice With Real Bands Using These Drum Play-Alongs!
Welcome to the drum play-along section of FreeDrumLessons.com. Here you will have the opportunity to play along with professional band tracks that have the drum parts removed! Better still, each of the lessons include a video with the original drummer playing his parts. This way, you can see some examples of beats and fills that work within the song. Then, it's up to you to take what you've learned in our various drum lessons, and come up with drum parts of your own.
Sterr - Rock Play-Along #1 - This video play-along features Sterr's song "Ever Done Before" as performed by Dean Reimer. Start by watching Dean on video, and then download the audio-only version that has all the drum-tracks removed. You can either play similar beats to Dean, or come up with patterns of your own.

Sterr - Rock Play-Along #7- This video lesson features the Sterr song "Better Now" as performed by Dean Reimer. Watch Dean play, then see what you can come up with on your own kit. But be careful, staying on time with this song can be tricky, so keep an eye on your metronome.
Contemporary Drum Play-Along #1- This video play-along features Blue Rain's song "Answer" as performed by Jared Falk. Start by watching Jared on video, and then download the audio-only version that has all the drum-tracks removed. You can either play similar beats to Jared, or come up with patterns of your own.
Contemporary Drum Play-Along #2- This video play-along features Blue Rain's song "Beautiful Lie" as performed by Jared Falk. You can begin by watching Jared perform his drum parts in this video, then take it back to your kit and try to play the same drum parts Jared plays or create your own!

These contemporary play-along songs are fairly easy to play but feel free to spice them up with parts of your own! Use the downloadable mp3 to take the song back to your kit and be creative!

Either way you go, you should imporve your funk drum chops with this funk drum play-along!
